Taking the face of a 1950’s radiator we’ve highlighted its fittings and antique appeal by pairing it with shelves made of hemlock salvaged from the Old Toronto Harbour. This piece is a functional representation of a period in Toronto’s rich history of design and infrastructure. The steel is protected with linseed oil, to maintain the finish you may wish to re-apply oil every 6-12 months. Using a natural wood oil when the lumber appears tired will preserve the hemlock in its best condition. Unit can be set with 3, or 4 shelves to your preference.
